Symptom
1. Key previous year 31/12/2020 closing balance in Last Year Balance Maintenance(2020 DEC), but 31/12/2020 trial balance report not tally, it didn’t show opening stock figure.
2. Fiscal Year Start Date & Actual Start Date are same. Example: 01/01/2021

Reason
Because fiscal start date & actual start date are same. So cant directly key in opening stock figure in Last Year Balance Maintenance.

Solution

1. Add a new previous year(2019), remove 2020 DEC opening stock figure from Last Year Balance Maintenance into 2019 DEC stock value. System will pass as 2020 opening stock.
2. 31/12/2020 retained earnings need deduct 2020 opening stock figure, or else retained earnings figure will double up.

Now
Your Trial balance, P&L and Balance Sheet report should be tally, kindly check again.
