Symptoms
1. Connect Sharing Printer face Error 0x00000709 after windows update

2. Can ping each other.

3. Double click Icon in “Devices and Printers” can view print listing but print test paper no record.

4. Can login sharing folder by IP & Pc name but double click printer show Error 0x00000709.

Resolution

1. Use Windows+R to display Run, input appwiz.cpl and tap OK.

2. Click View Installed updates

3. Select Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5006670) and click Uninstall

4. Finish Uninstall Update Restart your Computer

Solution 2

open the Windows Registry Editor and navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print, create a new DWORD-32 bit value named RpcAuthnLevelPrivacyEnabled, and set it to 0, as shown in the Registry file below.
